Rascal Flatts, featuring Picher native Joe Don Rooney, releases its new studio album, "Changed," on April 3 via Big Machine Records.

The trio's gearing up for a string of appearances to promote the release, including a performance during the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, to be broadcast live 7 p.m. Sunday on CBS. The band is also nominated for group of the year.

They’ll swing by to perform on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars,” 7 p.m. on ABC.

Next, catch them on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which airs on KJRH in Tulsa.

That night, they’ll be in New York City for the showing of their one-night-only national that also premieres in movie theaters across the state. "Rascal Flatts - Changed: One Night Exclusive Theater Event," is 7 p.m. April 5 at Cinemark Tulsa 17 with IMAX and Cinemark-Broken Arrow. In Oklahoma City, Tinseltown USA and AMC Quail Springs 24 will show the film. Learn more at tulsaworld.com/fathomflatts.

Rascal Flatts tops it all off with an April 6 guest spot on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Later, on April 13, CBS debuts the “Lionel Richie & Friends- In Concert,” also featuring the band as it performs the Commodores hit “Dancin’ on the Ceiling” with Richie.

Also, the band’s label, Big Machine, announced that it’s pairing with General Mills and Feeding America to launch the Outnumber Hunger campaign. Participants also include Rascal Flatts, Martina McBride, The Band Perry and others.

Outnumber Hunger will help Feeding America secure up to 15.6 million meals for local food banks to assist the one in six Americans who struggles with hunger. The campaign recently found Rascal Flatts in New Jersey, helping to prepare and distribute meals.

According to the USDA, an estimated 49 million Americans struggle with hunger.

Codes will appear on millions of specially-marked packages of General Mills products to give every person the chance to help Feeding America secure five meals for their local food banks.

Specially-marked packages of General Mills products will feature an Outnumber Hunger code, as well as favorite Big Machine Label Group artists like Rascal Flatts. More than 10 General Mills brands, including Betty Crocker, Green Giant, Totino’s and Cheerios, will participate. Entering the code at OutnumberHunger.comhelps Feeding America secure five meals on behalf of a local food bank. Participants enter their ZIP codes, and meals will stay in or near the area.

PLUS! The band also is hosting a special concert on May 28 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation. Learn more at tulsaworld.com/hardrockcasino.
