Chris Knight will perform a free acoustic show 9 p.m. Tuesday inside the Dog Iron Saloon at
Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs.
The American Red Dirt trio will perform swap-style acoustic versions of career-best songs.
Canada, who is guitar and vocals for
Cody Canada & The Departed, most recently released "ADVENTUS," the band's first album of all-original music and a follow-up to 2012's “This Is Indian Land,” a 15-track Oklahoma tribute album landing at No. 13 on the Billboard country charts.
Canada fronted
Cross Canadian Ragweed from 1994-2010, when the band split and Canada and fellow band mate Jeremy Plato formed The Departed.
Ragweed released the singles “Fightin’ For,” “Sick and Tired,” “Constantly,” and “17” among others.
As frontman for
Turnpike Troubadours, Felker is known for his raw-boned lyrics songs like “Every Girl,” “Bossier City” and “Diamonds and Gasoline.” The band’s third full-length album, “Goodbye Normal Street,” was released in May 2012.
Knight's written hits for
Confederate Railroad,
John Anderson,
Randy Travis,
Blake Shelton and
Montgomery Gentry. He's also released eight solo albums and seven singles. The most recent, “Little Victories,” was released in late 2012 and peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard country chart.
