Russia's synchronized duet swim team won a gold medal and fans the world over, including a member of the Jackson family, with its Olympic technical routine.
Wearing swim suits sporting the late pop icon's face, Natalia Ischenko and Svetlana Romashina performed an incredible and rapid routine Jackson's "They Don't Care About Us."
It was a performance that eventually helped them win the gold medal over Spain and drew a special response from La Toya Jackson, sister of the late pop icon, according to tmz.com.
"I'm thankful for the honor that the Olympian swimmers paid to my brother Michael's memory," reportedly told the website Thursday.
"It is so wonderful to see how many global fans he has!"
