SEE IT: Carrie Underwood covers Coldplay on 'Unplugged'

Carrie Underwood covered Coldplay's hit "Fix You" for her upcoming performance on VH1's "Unplugged," to run 3 p.m. Tuesday on VH1.com and 6 p.m. Tuesday on-air at VH1, cable 54.

"Unplugged" is a live acoustic series that's captured performances from artists including Alanis to Elton, from Nirvana to Jay-Z.

PLUS! Her "Behind the Music" special also airs 8 p.m. tonight on VH1, cable 54.

Barrelhouse Beat

Barrelhouse: A colloquialism describing the low saloons at the turn of the century (19th) that served whiskey straight out of the barrel. It's also a reference to the type of music played in those venues. Ex: Barrelhouse music.

Beat: The time or timing. Ex: The band played with a solid beat. Also used as a term describing a reporters specific area of expertise. Ex: The music beat.
