STYLE: Sneak peek at upcoming Target-Neiman Marcus collaboration

I know, I know, summer's still sizzling, and school hasn't even started yet -- so thinkin' about holiday makes me feel a smidgen queasy.

But you know how quickly those fall days go, so I thought I'd go ahead and share the first sneak peek I've seen into the upcoming holiday collaboration between Target and Neiman Marcus, which debuts in both retailers' stores Dec. 1.

It's a behind-the-scenes look at the 24 designers who created exclusive products for this collection, as well as Stacia Andersen, senior vice president of merchandising for Target's home division; and Ken Downing, fashion director of Neiman Marcus.

The collection features an eclectic and diverse mix of more than 50 gifting items, ranging in price from $7.99 to $499.99, and spanning multiple product categories, including apparel for men, women and kids, home decor, sporting goods, stationary, pet items and more.

The entire collection will be sold at all Target and Neiman Marcus stores, as well as online at Target.com and NeimanMarcus.com, just in time for the busy holiday season.

Peace, love and holiday shopping ... XOXO

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
