Girl Scout cookie deliveries are just about to begin.

One of my favorites is the Samoa. You can find some good recpies online for Samoa cookie bars. It's a bar cookie made with layers of coconut and chocolate.

Knowing I might not get around to making them, I was glad to discover something even better at Queenie's in Utica Square. Queenie's makes Almond Joy cookie bars. The bars begin with a graham cracker crust, then a coconut filling topped with sliced almonds and a drizzle of chocolate.

If you're near Queenie's, it's worth a short line and the extra calories.

Also, beginning Monday you can go to the Girls Scouts site to find where you can find cookies sold at booth sales. You can find that at tulsaworld.com/girlscouts
