Just in time for Halloween, we'll post the winners of our first "Scare the World in Six Words" contest on the Tulsa World's website.
We received close to 800 individual entries in nearly 400 emails -- a number of schools, including Jenks elementary and high schools, schools in Locust Grove and Montgomery County, Missouri, sent in literally hundreds of entries from students who created their entries as an English class assignment.
We even got entries from as far afield as Houston.
Granted, a lot of them were pretty lame. But there were a few that create the right sort of uneasy shiver down the spine that we wanted.
Thanks to all who entered, and Happy Halloween.
