Oklahomans who have longed for a See’s Candies shop can rejoice this month when the first store opens in Tulsa.

Grand opening celebrations will kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony on 9:30 a.m. August 24 at the shop inside Woodland Hills Mall.

Starting that morning and throughout the weekend, See’s will give away a “Taste of See’s” gift with every $25 purchase. The gift is filled with two signature lollypops and three assorted candies.

Customers will also enjoy free candy samples and be able to take a spin on the prize wheel for a chance to win candy, gift certificates, and other prizes. Kids will receive Happy Habit hats and free lollypops, and discount cards with a special offer for future candy purchases will also be handed out.

The new See’s Candies shop is located on the Second Floor in the Center Court of the Woodlands Hill Mall, 7021 S. Memorial Drive. Regular shop hours for the new See’s Candies location are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The shop can be reached at (918) 294-0522.

Since 1921, See’s Candies has been delivering fresh chocolates and candies to its shops throughout the U.S. and now has more than 200 locations.

Oh yum! I was just out at Woodland Hills Mall on Thursday with my 4-1/2 year old granddaughter and saw the See's store.
