Shemar Moore in "Fifty Shades of Grey" + obsessed fans on YouTube

OK, I swear I'm gonna stop talking about "Fifty Shades of Grey" after today -- at least for the rest of the week.

But my fellow running mates shared whom they had envisioned playing Christian, the rich main male character in E.L. James' steamy novel, should a movie be made. Then, sadly, I shared mine.

First, though, one friend's two picks (thank Heaven for obsessed fans with time to make stalker-like YouTube videos):

And this one (which I tried to screen for anything naughty -- although you might still wanna turn the volume way down at work or if you're looking at this on your iPhone during Bible study because it's to the tune of Britney's "Womanizer"):

Our fellow teammate picked this guy, whose appearance on "Ellen" seemed safe enough to share here:

And then there's the person I thought of when reading the premise of "Fifty Shades." Now, in my defense, I had in mind that Christian was an older guy -- wrong. Still, the following male is whom I thought of first:

Spank! Spank! Spank!

Sorry. Please forgive me for any horrible visuals I may have caused you, "Fifty Shades" fan.

But who would you like to see play Christian? And what about Anastasia?

Peace, love and Shemar Moore ... XOXO

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
