Shiloh's closes original store, keeps BA location

Shiloh’s, one of the busiest area diners over the past decade, has closed its original location but still is operating its Broken Arrow restaurant.
The original store, which opened in 2000, was located on 51st Street just west of 129th East Avenue in a former Kettle restaurant building near La Quinta and Super 8 hotels.
Restaurant co-owner Teri Kidd said the restaurant building is owned by La Quinta.
"The building's structure was getting ready to need major repairs and La Quinta didn't want to make them," Kidd said. "For us, it was financially just too expensive.
"Also, since the restaurants were not that far apart (a little more than two miles), we were drawing from the same customer pool, which had taken business from the old restaurant. The Broken Arrow restaurant is newer, nicer and the kitchen is more functional."
The Broken Arrow restaurant is part of the Clarion Hotel, located just off the Broken Arrow Expressway at Aspen Avenue (145th East Avenue). It opened about three years ago.
Shiloh's serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Kidd said the family hasn't ruled out opening a second location again.
"Some people want us to open in Owasso and some other places," she said. "For now we will stick with the one, but we will keep an open mind about it."

We went to the one that is closing a couple of times, it was somewhat awkward to get to being just next to the expressway. Had a good omelette there though.

Consider opening in Sand Springs. We could used a restaurant like yours in a former Western Sizzlin location.
