Should parents dump Instagram?

I always thought my kid was cute enough for a Gap ad. And now, who knows? He might get the chance without anybody even asking me.
Not that Gap would do such a thing. But Instagram apparently would. Or at least, it wants to reserve the right to do it.
The hugely popular app, which lets you easily share photos with other people, is changing its users policy to let the company sell your photos to a third party, without compensating you or even telling you. Effective Jan. 16, Instagram will effectively own your photos.
So you take a cute little snap shot of your 4-year-old running around in a bath towel and the next thing you know it shows up on a billboard.
Never mind who might be interested in your teenage daughter's slumber party pics.
Parents might want to consider alternatives: CLICK HERE.
