Sign up for winter break day camps

Winter break day camps make great sense for two groups of people:

1. Parents who are already stressing about child care arrangements when the kids are out of school can know their kids will have a fun place to spend the day.

2. Parents of children who will be bouncing the walls on their days off from school have a place where their kids can burn energy and learn along the way.

It's time to sign up for these camps at Hicks, Lacy, Reed and Whiteside community centers. Space is limited, so it's best to sign up before the registration deadline, which is Dec. 16.

Each camp will have arts and crafts, games and field trips. Kids should bring a sack lunch.
