"The X Factor" judge Demi Lovato dedicated a video performance to the lives lost in the Newtown, Conn., shooting.
In a video, released Christmas Eve on YouTube, the recording artist performs "Angels Among Us" in tribute to the victims of the horrific killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
The video is prefaced with the message:
"We can never imagine what the families in Newtown, Conn., are experiencing right now. And while there is nothing we can do to replace their loss, we can stand together and support them during this difficult time. This song is in honor of those angels we lost on Dec. 14."
Lovato sings the touching song in a candle-lit studio accompanied by a guitarist and a pianist.
