Smokies BBQ opens on east side of Broken Arrow

Smokies BBQ has opened on the east side of Broken Arrow at 5251 E. Kenosha St. (71st Street).

Robin Williams, her fiancee Mark Latsos and Latsos' son, Aaron, are the owners.

Mark Latsos' parents constructed the building 15 years ago, and it has held several restaurants over that time.

Smokies specializes in smoked meats such as ribs, brisket, pork, chicken, bologna and hot links, and offers all of the standard barbecue joint sides.

The restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The phone number is 918-357-1113.

Seems like we're saturated with Tex-Mex and BBQ. . .

I consider 71st & Garnett area southeast Tulsa, but it is BA city limits. It better be good, are they will have a hard time competing.

That's EAST Kenosha on the east side of BA, not 71st/Garnett area.
