Don’t forget there is a drought, which will still be significant even after this melts.
We could use even more snow and its meltoff to ease the once cracked soil.
Remember, we were watering our lawns in Tulsa during Thanksgiving break.
Plus, kids just love snow on winter break too.
My upstate-New York born and raised brother-in-law scoffs at our notion of snow.
He shook his head as family members stayed away Christmas Day and listened as news stations issued the potential dire warnings.
But, he’s the first to jump to shelter when the word “tornado” is bandied about.
Also, he admits the ice in our part of the country is downright scary – along with our driving skills in winter weather.
For some reason, we just can't slow down when snowflakes are coming down, and accidents skyrocket.
