So what's your LEAST favorite holiday song???

Maybe it's just me, but two-thirds of this group look as if they're not quite hitting all those notes floating 'round their heads.
I'm not fond of Mannheim Steamroller.
I know that millions of people love them, especially this time of year. But, quite frankly, it reminds me of tweaked-out elevator music. I'm sure they're all LOVELY people, and obviously quite talented; but some of their versions of holiday songs are my least favorite to hear this time of year.
Earlier this week, I asked what some of y'all's favorite Christmas songs were; but a reader suggested I inquire what your LEAST favorites are. So spill! Tell me what and why, por favor.
Peace, love and yuletide warbling ... XOXO

As much as I'm probably going to be yelled at for saying it, It's Barbra Streisand's "Jingle Bells." That whole album still makes me cringe a bit.

Wham's "Last Christmas" always makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. Seriously, It's been a year George.. get over it!

"I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" in that nasally 10-year-old twang just makes my teeth itch. "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" is a close second. And if I hear Bing Crosby croon "White Christmas" more than a couple of times a season, I've overdosed on it. Sorry, some things are just overdone.
On a positive note, a concert by a harp quintet on OETA several years ago just made my Christmas season. I wish I would have recorded it. *sigh
M.C. & H.N.Y., y'all!

I could never stand Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer. Still hate it. I'm not sure what the caterwauling was that started out as a Christmas song on TV the other night, but I grabbed the remote and shut the TV off as fast as I could.

Anything from the the Barry Manilow Christmas CD. Why my mother thought that was a great purchase is something I'll never understand....

Okay I am sorry if there are people out there who love this song, but I hate "A Wonderful Christmas Time". Every time it says "simply having a wonderful christmas time" I want to bang my head against the wall.

My Mom had a "Cat Wreath" that when did it detected someone close by, would play a caterwauling version of cats singing "Jingle Bells"...It was heaven to my Mom's ears (who was totally tone deaf)..and to the rest of us, it was actually so far out of tune that it would make your skin crawl, and your ears ache...I still put it out, even though my Mom's gone now.

Living Wright
While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
