"America's Got Talent" will get spicier when the series returns this summer.

Mel B, aka Spice Girl Melanie Brown, will replace Sharon Osbourne as a judge, reports deadline.com. Osbourne left the show at the end of last season after voicing anger at NBC for not allowing her son Jack to participate in its reality series "Stars Earn Stripes" after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Mel B, who also served as a judge of on the Australian production of "The X Factor" and was a guest host of the British version of the same show, will join Howie Mandel and Howard Stern at the judges’ table. She also competed on "Dancing With the Stars."

The reality TV competition "AGT" will tape its first episode of the new season March 4 in New Orleans, according to the website.
