With the news that the McBirney Mansion is closing, so goes the fabulous Sunday brunches put together by chef Richard Schlosberg.

The brunches, started earlier this year, were exquisite. However, according to Schlosberg's Facebook page, there is a chance something similar might live on in another facility.

On a recent post, Schlosberg said he will be doing some special dinners and possibly some Sunday brunches in November at Sage Rage Melt Bar, 3746 S. Peoria Ave., in Brookside. And in the meantime he's looking for a full-time job.

I have a call out to Chef Richard, so as soon as I collect the details I will put the information in restaurant notes in the Weekend section, and blog as well.
