Here are a few videos from this afternoon's Oklahoma music showcase at Palm Door in Austin, Texas. The
Sax, Clogs and Rock N Roll showcase was presented by
Dfest and the
Oklahoma Film and Music Office.
More than 1,000 people RSVP'd to the event, and eight Oklahoma bands performed: Stars Go Dim, Marcy Priest, Ryan Lindsey, Colourmusic, Ali Harter, Daniel Walcher, The Uglysuit, Beau Jennings and Samantha Crain and the Midnight Shivers.
Two bands stole the show: Samantha Crain and the Midnight Shivers and Colourmusic. Both from opposite ends of the music spectrum, but both equally potent. I'll post one video from each now, and more from them both later. :)
