This one is not for the faint of heart. Oklahoma's James Marsden goes from the sweet, simple comedy of starring in "Hop" to a remake of one of the most distressing motion pictures ever made.
The first trailer for "Straw Dogs" looks faithful to the nerve-wracking fear induced by director Sam Peckinpah's 1971 film, about a man and his beautiful blonde wife (Dustin Hoffman and Susan George in the original) attacked in their home by local hoodlums and fighting back.
Marsden has the Hoffman role this time around, while Kate Bosworth ("Blue Crush") plays his pretty young wife. Again, even this trailer gets pretty intimidating, so consider yourself warned.
"Straw Dogs" is scheduled for release on Sept. 16.
