Tanker spills crude oil into Keystone Lake

I just returned from Keystone Lake on highway 412 after photographing the scene where a tanker was spilling crude oil into the lake after being involved in a wreck.
Having never been that close to an oil spill before I witnessed not only how depressing it was to see oil washing up on shore but also the horrible stench of fumes, it was so bad authorities had to move the media even further back than we were, thankfully nobody was killed but the driver of the tanker was seriously injured.

Compelling images, James. I hope it gets cleaned up soon.
