Here's a fun and totally Tulsa-centric happening to mark on your calendars for Thursday. It's the opening of the new home of the Topeca Coffee roastery.

If you already love Topeca, it will be a fun behind-the-scenes look at your favorite coffee. If you don't know about Topeca, you can find out about this local company that uses sustainable farming and local roasting to make some of the best coffee you've ever sipped.

Either way, it should be a lively night with music from Project Huckleberry and Move Trio and local art, including a latte art competition.

Food, beer and, of course, coffee will be part of the evening. That includes samples of Topeca's new draft-style cold brew coffee.

Tours will be given, and Topeca baristas will give demos.

What: Topeca Coffee Roastery Opening
When: 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday
Where: 1229 E. Admiral Place
Cost: Free
