Tinted Windows, a new music project featuring Tulsa’s own Hanson brother, Taylor Hanson, will perform 8:30 p.m. March 18 on Bob’s side stage at Cain’s Ballroom, 423 N. Main St.

Tinted Windows features former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, legendary Cheap Trick drummer Bun E. Carlos and Fountains of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger.

Tickets will be only $5 (!!) plus fees, and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday. This is a pre-South by Southwest debut of the band, so here’s your chance to see it first!

“All of us have just sort of made time for the creation of the album when we could over the last couple years, and now it is going to be coming out, with all the trimmings,” Taylor Hanson wrote in a fanclub letter to his fans on Wednesday.

Tinted Windows has already recorded its first album, and is currently shopping it to major record labels.
