A 13-year-old from Westchester, N.Y., with an "old soul" brought the judges of "The X Factor" and the audience to their feet on Thursday's audition show. Judges that included pop icon Britney Spears, producer record executive Simon Cowell, record executive L.A. Reid and pop star Demi Lovato.

"I hope Britney and Demi look at me and say 'that's like me. That's where I was at one time,'" Sonenclar said in a pre-audition interview.

The young performer, who has appeared in Broadway productions of "Les Miserables" and "Wonderland," sang an amazing version of "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.

"Wow miss thang, said Spears, gushing over the performance. "You are a little diva. You were unbelievable, you were amazing, I was not expecting that and you can see all of us are completely in love with you."

"A star has just walked out on this stage," added Cowell.

"Honey you may be 13 but your soul is old," said Reid.

Sonenclar told producers before the show that getting a "yes" from the judges would be the "greatest moment of my life." All four judges voted to advance her the reality singing competition’s boot camp. The eventual winner of the competition will receive a $5 million prize.

"The X Factor" airs at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursday on Fox,channel 23, cable 5.
