They tell us we are about to endure another BIG FREEZE over the next few days, which started me thinking about freezing, freezes and, of course, Tastee Freez.
It occurred to me how many diners, drive-ins and burger joints I have visited over the past 10 years that started out as a Tastee Freez, most recently Hatfield's and The Freeze.
Tastee Freez once was Dairy Queen's biggest competitor, going back 50 years or so. I wonder how many spots around the Tulsa area have the Tastee Freez footprint?
