The Old-Fashioned Way

In next week's (Feb. 18) Spot I am going to take a look at Burgers-N-More, a 26-year-old Sapulpa restaurant known for its housemade fries and classic hamburgers.

It also is known for doing things the "old-fashioned way." Owner Tanja Ray recently made a concession to the times by putting in computerized cash registers.

"I'm not really happy with the computer registers," she said. "They kind of take the personality out of writing down orders.

"We still have the cashiers put the customers' names on the ticket instead of using a number. People will never be just numbers here."

Could be one clue why the restaurant has lasted 26 years.

One of the better places to eat in Sapulpa (not sure that is saying too much). Their burgers, cheese tater tots, floats, and shakes/malts are great.
been along time since i ate there but a burger and fries was the way to go
