The Tulsa World is looking for some interns this summer

The internship website also shows which current newsroom staff went through the internship program.

If you know some college students who are studying media and advertising and are interested in a paid internship, the Tulsa World will have some available for this summer.

The newsroom will fill positions for the following departments: Web, Photo, News, Sports, Design and Copy Desk.

The advertising department needs someone for advertising sales.

We have had a lot of great interns over the years and many have gone on to great things. Many continue to work in media and some just recently earned national recognition. Thayer Evans (Class of 2000) had his first Sports Illustrated cover story. Adam Wisneski (Class of 2007) is a videographer for President Obama's election campaign.

A number of interns are now on staff in the World newsroom, including six editors.

Learn more about the details of the internship this summer, see last summer's internship project on open records and see past classes of interns at www.tulsaworld.com/internship.

Interesting article. I see you kept the 'best of' for the Tulsa World. The way it should be, I guess. Anyway, good read. Thanks.
