The internship website also shows which current newsroom staff went through the internship program.
If you know some college students who are studying media and advertising and are interested in a paid internship, the Tulsa World will have some available for this summer.
The newsroom will fill positions for the following departments: Web, Photo, News, Sports, Design and Copy Desk.
The advertising department needs someone for advertising sales.
We have had a lot of great interns over the years and many have gone on to great things. Many continue to work in media and some just recently earned national recognition. Thayer Evans (Class of 2000) had his
first Sports Illustrated cover story. Adam Wisneski (Class of 2007) is a videographer for
President Obama's election campaign. A number of interns are now on staff in the World newsroom, including six editors.
