The upcoming issue of
Paste magazine rounds up its picks for top indie music stores in the nation. I can vouch for
Ernest Tubb and
Shangri-La in Tennessee. I spent more money in both of the Tenn. stores than I did on any part of my visits to those cities. Well, maybe Hatch Show Print might come in as a close second for spending in Nashville. But annyyyway ... too bad Under The Mooch, Starship, Rob's Records in Tulsa or Size and Guest Room in OKC didn't make this list. :(

In their soon-to-be-released July issue, Paste magazine celebrates the 17 best record stores still standing, in an effort to keep them standing for many, many more years to come!
