The week ahead: Drillers, free music and "Annie"

It's another busy week.
Sunday
It's the last day of the St. Francis Tulsa Tough racing series.
Fans are encouraged to bring coolers and dress in costumes as they cheer racers up Cry Baby Hill, at 13th Street and Lawton Avenue, around 1 p.m.
And the Lobeck-Taylor Foundation Townie Ride will start at 2 p.m. at 15th Street and Riverside Drive. The eight-mile townie ride is a free event designed for families.
Monday
The Tulsa Drillers will continue their home stand Monday with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch against Northwest Arkansas at ONEOK Field. The first 500 fans will receive a “Tim Wheeler as The Dark Night” bobblehead. Tickets are $5-$15, available at

Tuesday
The Starlight Band begins its free summer concerts Tuesday. This week’s concert will feature the Jazz Orchestra and will honor jazz legend Stan Kenton. All concerts will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through the summer, in the amphitheater at the River West Festival Park, 2100 S. Jackson Ave., on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and chairs or blankets. Concessions will be available.
Wednesday
Check out Tulsa Project Theatre's final production of the season, "Annie."
The musical features Tulsan Emily Thresher in the title role. Performances are set through June 17 in the Assembly Hall of the Tulsa Convention Center, 200 Civic Center. Wednesday’s show is at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday
The 38th annual Mid America Ford and Team Shelby Nationals is set for Wednesday through Sunday.
Car enthusiasts will have a chance to see about 800 mustangs cruising Tulsa streets Thursday evening, starting at 6 p.m., during the Brady Ford Fest in the Brady Arts District.
