While you're oot and aboot this weekend, be sure to check out one particular sale on winter items -- and some new, slimming stuff for spring.

Lynette's at the Palazzo, 103rd and Memorial, is hosting her post-inventory clearance sale. The first item is 50 percent off, and the second item is an additional 20 percent off, namesake owner Lynette Funk explained.

She also mentioned these fantastic capri leggings with tummy control, with a 5-inch band around the top that eliminates "the roll." And you know what roll I'm talkin' about. Colors include black, gray, navy, white and khaki.

Lynette's also has the full-length legging with that same unbelievable tummy control, in sizes ranging from small to XL. Colors include black, gray, olive, brown and navy.

Prices are $58 for the capri leggings, $64 for the full.

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
