Smell it soon.

Just found out Sarah Jessica Parker's new fragrance, Covet, is coming to stores in August. Here's the verbage from the press release ...

"There are shoes, and then there are stilettos. There's jewelry, and then there are diamonds. There's dessert, and then there's chocolate. There's fragrance, and now there's Covet."

Top notes include wet greens (not collards, though), geranium leaves, Sicilian lemon, lavender and chocolate. Middle notes are honeysuckle, magnolia, muget and Michelia yunnanensis NP (no clue). And the base notes are musk, vetiver, bois de cashmere, teakwood and amber.

Look for the commercials, which were shot on location in Paris. Oh-la-la ... The bottle's cute, like a gemstone with this multifaceted, smoky topaz ring, which you can use as an accessory ... To murder!!! Sorry, I had a "Matlock" flashback.

Anyway, prices are $52 for the 1.7 oz eau de parfum spray, $68 for the 3.4 oz spray, $32 for the body lotion and $28 for the bath and shower gel. When I find out where it'll be, I'll tell you in my Fashion Flash column or something in late July or early August.

Peace, love and Mr. Big ... xoxo

Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
