'November'Theatre Pops’ production of the play “November,” written by playwright David Mamet, opens today at the PAC’s Liddy Doenges Theatre, 110 E. Second St.
The comedy is about a U.S. president trying to get himself re-elected.

Autumn Leaves of TulsaAutumn Leaves of Tulsa, 7807 S. Mingo Road, is hosting a one-year anniversary celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Shrimp cocktail martinis, a gourmet buffet, and a steak served with gorgonzola cheese is on the menu. Live entertainment from pianist Richard Hicks will fill the evening as attendees enjoy complimentary beverages. This event is free.
Autumn Leaves of Tulsa serves families living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and offers free services including support groups, free respite care, educational seminars and memory testing.

Family Fun FestSeekingSitters of Tulsa is hosting a Family Fun Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Whiteside Park gymnasium, near 41st Street and Pittsburg Avenue.
The event is a way for parents to meet professional sitters while enjoying activities for the whole family.
Carnival games, inflatables for children, ceramic painting and lunch will be part of the event. SeekingSitters will also have a baby-sitting guide available, which will include social media tips and other safe-sitting information.
Admission is $10 per family, or free to SeekingSitters members and sitters.
All admission fees benefit The Little Lighthouse.
Philbrook Second SaturdayAdmission to the Philbrook Museum is free on the second Saturday of each month.
Families can enjoy the exhibits, free art activities and live music. Pack a picnic lunch to eat on the lawn, or buy lunch at La Villa Restaurant.

Cherokee Nation museumsCherokee Nation is offering free admission to all Cherokee Nation museums throughout November in recognition of Native American Heritage month.
Cherokee Nation museums include the Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum, 122 E. Keetoowah St. in Tahlequah; the Cherokee National Prison Museum, 124 E. Choctaw St. in Tahlequah; and the John Ross Museum, 22366 S. 530 Road in Park Hill.
Cherokee Nation Museums are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Arts & Crafts FestivalThis weekend, the Illinois River Arts & Crafts Festival will be at the University Center Sen. Herb Rozell Ballroom at Northeastern State University, 600 N. Grand Ave. in Tahlequah.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission and parking are free.
The festival includes vendor booths featuring an array of traditional to modern arts and crafts, such as handmade jewelry, wooden board games, homemade soaps, scarves, furniture and sweaters.
