Tulsa Ballet will present ?A Ballets Russes Evening? Friday-Sunday at the Tulsa PAC?s Chapman Music Hall.
This weekend, check out one of two bargain sales, take the kids to "The Little Princess," or drive over to Stillwater with your dog.
“The Little Princess”
A new version of the classic children’s story, “The Little Princess,” will be presented this weekend at the Tulsa PAC's Liddy Doenges Theatre. Performances are 7 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $16, available at

The story centers around a young woman whose wealthy father sends her to stay in a boarding school while he is away. When her father dies, and the money stops, she becomes the target of the school’s malevolent headmistress.
The Pioneer Woman
A launch party for Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond’s second cookbook, “The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food From My Frontier,” is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Cain’s Ballroom.
Drummond is a writer, photographer, ranch wife and mother of four. Her blog (

) attracts more than 20 million page views per month and was named Weblog of the Year at the 2011, 2010 and 2009 Bloggie Awards.

Bargain sales
Abersons & Friends Warehouse Sale
The 10th annual Abersons & Friends Warehouse Sale benefiting Family & Children’s Services is set for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the FCS central office, 650 S. Peoria Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
Merchandise donated from about 50 local retailers — including clothing and home décor — will be on sale for up to 87 percent off.

The Tulsa Mothers of Multiples annual Spring/Summer Sale is 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Open Bible Fellowship Church, 1439 E. 71st St.
Items for sale include clothes, DVDs, furniture and books. Shoppers can expect savings anywhere from 70 percent to 95 percent at the sale. Tulsa Mothers of Multiples encourages shoppers to bring a laundry basket or bag to carry away their purchases, and only cash will be accepted. Parking and admission are free. Ballet

Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show
More than 4,100 exhibits of firearms, knives, swords and accessories will be on display and for sale at Expo Square’s QuikTrip Center during the Wanenmacher’s Tulsa Arms Show this weekend. General-interest exhibits include Western and wildlife art, bronze work and jewelry.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults and $3 for children, or free with the purchase of a new NRA membership at the door.

Bark For Life
Take your dogs to Stillwater for a canine event to help end cancer. Bark For Life will be held on the Engineering South Lawn at the OSU campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food, dog competitions, prizes and demonstrations will all be part of the event, as will be a dog obstacle course. All the proceeds raised from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society. Registration is $10 in advance at

Tulsa To Do
