Conference USA BasketballThe Conference USA Basketball Championships are in Tulsa this week. Games began Wednesday and run through Saturday.
The women’s tournament is being played at the Tulsa Convention Center, 100 Civic Center.
The men are playing at the BOK Center, 200 S. Denver Ave. The TU men’s team will play its first game at 8:30 p.m. today.
Both championship games will be at the BOK on Saturday. The men’s championship is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, and the women’s championship is set for 7 p.m. Saturday.

‘Miss Representation’OU-Tulsa is hosting a free screening of “Miss Representation” at 6:30 p.m. today in the Schusterman Learning Center, 4502 E. 41st St.
“Miss Representation,” written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is a documentary that examines how the media’s limited portrayal of girls and women influences their under-representation in positions of power in America.
The film is rated TV 14 DL, meaning that parents are strongly cautioned that it may contain material that is not suitable for children younger than 14.

Robert J. LaFortune WildLIFE TrekThe Tulsa Zoo’s Robert J. LaFortune North American Living Museum will reopen as the Robert J. LaFortune WildLIFE Trek on Saturday. The four-building complex will feature an interactive keeper chat area and training wall at the grizzly bear exhibit, as well as a two-story waterfall and wading pond for the bears.
Also in the complex will be the zoo’s original cave exhibit, as well as a range of animals from naked mole rats to albino alligators.
The zoo is at 6421 E. 36th St. North. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is $8 for adults and $4 for kids ages 3-11.
R.K. Gun ShowR.K. Shows Inc.’s gun show, featuring about 1,000 tables, will be at the Exchange Center at Expo Square, 4145 E. 21st St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12.

Funday SundayAdmission to Gilcrease Museum, 1400 N. Gilcrease Museum Road, is free on Sunday.
From noon to 4 p.m. the museum will offer family art activities for families with children ages 4 to 15. Families can stop at art stations featuring different materials and themes, as well as artists who will help guide and inspire visitors.
Art hunts also be held throughout the galleries.
While there, families can also learn the Kiowa dances that artist Woody Crumbo depicted in his work. The museum's newest exhibit, "Bending, Weaving, Dancing," features Crumbo's work.
