Dirt bike racing, a gun show and a home and garden show are among the things on the calendar this weekend.

Bluebird seminar
Bob Walshaw, a bluebird expert, will talk about the birds during a free seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bass Pro Shop, 101 Bass Pro Drive in Broken Arrow.
Walshaw, who takes care of more than 100 bluebird houses around his neighborhood, has written a booklet called “The How and Why of Bluebirding.”
For more information, call 918-355-7600.

Dogville open house
Dogville Daycare & Boarding, a new Tulsa business specializing in caring for old dogs and dogs with special needs, is hosting an open house event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The open house will include tours of the facility, located at 9525 E. 47th Place, as well as a puppy-kissing booth to raise money for Lab Rescue Oklahoma, a paw-painting booth, a vaccination clinic by The Mobile Pet Vet, $5 ID tags and prize giveaways. Refreshments — for humans and dogs — will be available.

AMSOIL Arenacross
AMSOIL Arenacross, a motorcycle dirt racing event, will be at the BOK Center at 7 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.
This season, the championship will feature a new format of on-track competition. The BOK Center floor will be covered in 170 truckloads of soil that will form a man-made dirt battleground featuring numerous jumps and obstacles.
For more about the event, visit tulsaworld.com/arenacross. Tickets are $22-$32, available at tulsaworld.com/bok, the Arby’s Box Office at the BOK Center, or by calling 1-866-726-5287.

Home and garden show
The Green Country Home and Garden Show will be at the Exchange Center at Expo Square from Friday through Sunday. More than 150 exhibitors will be at the event, featuring displays highlighting home decorating and design ideas. Local home improvement experts will also offer tips during their “how-to” seminars and demonstrations.
Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for everyone 12 and older.
