Various options are available to fill your weekend calendar, some in town and some a short drive away.
Secret Keeper Girl Live
This event, for girls ages 8-12 and their mothers, will be held at the Mabee Center, 7777 S. Lewis Ave., at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
The religious-based event is designed to encourage discussions about modesty and peer pressure, and will include fashion shows, competitions, and mother-daughter conversation times.

Consignment sale
The Just Between Friends fall consignment sale continues at the Exchange Center at Expo Square, 4145 E. 21st St., through Saturday. Items sold include children and maternity clothes, toys, books and baby equipment.
Items are 25 percent off today and Friday, and hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The 50 percent off sale is Saturday, and hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tulsa PAC
Several shows are at the PAC this weekend.
“The Wizard of Oz” will be at the Liddy Doenges Theatre at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $11-$16.
“100 Years of Broadway” will be at the Chapman Music Hall 7:30 p.m. today, 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $16-$52.
“Funerals Are Not Sexy” will be at the Charles E. Norman Theatre 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $10.

OUT OF TOWN
The
Claremore Dog Expo
is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Claremore Expo Center, 400 Veterans Parkway. Dog diving, demonstrations, adoptions, vendors and competitions will all be a part of this event. General admission is $6, $3 for kids younger than 6. Participants who want to compete in the DockDogs canine aquatic competitions can register on site starting at 9 a.m. Registration is $30. Agility demonstrations will be held at 9:30 a.m. both mornings, then the agility course will be open for attendees to use with their dogs for a $5 fee. Youth contests will also be held for free.
The event benefits the Claremore Animal Shelter and aims to bring focus to rescue organizations. For more information, call 918-341-1260.
Or spend the day in McAlester on Saturday to celebrate diversity at
Culturefest
. Dancers, musicians and other performers representing various cultures and countries will be at the event, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Choctaw Avenue in downtown McAlester. Kids activities, crafts and food will also be part of the fun. For more information, visit
