This weekend: Music, WWII bombers and 'The Rocky Horror Show'

?Contemplations,? a new collaborative work between Portico Dans Theatre and Tulsa Camerata, was created to celebrate the opening of the new Guthrie Green.
This weekend, take your pick of music, art, film and more.
Film Festival
The Mvskoke Film Festival is set for Friday and Saturday at Riverwalk Movies, 300 RiverWalk Terrace in Jenks. The festival will showcase the talents of Native American filmmakers.
Tickets are $5 per day of film screenings. Screening times are 1-4 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. both days.

‘Contemplations’
“Contemplations” is a new collaborative work between Portico Dans Theatre and Tulsa Camerata. The work was created specifically to celebrate the opening of the Brady Art District’s new Guthrie Green. It includes pieces that showcase the contemporary styles of the companies’ repertoires. Several pieces will also combine the companies in an interdisciplinary performance using music, dance and video.
The free performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Guthrie Green, 111 E. Brady.
'The Rocky Horror Show'
“The Rocky Horror Show,” presented by Tulsa Project Theatre, will open Friday at the Tulsa Convention Center’s Assembly Hall, 200 Civic Center.
This year, the show will feature a new set and new choreography. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Performances continue next weekend.

WWII Superfortress FIFI
The Commemorative Air Forces’ World War II Boeing B-29 Superfortress FIFI will be at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum on Friday and Saturday.
Visitors will have an opportunity to tour the inside of the four-engine bomber that helped end World War II. Several other WWII-era aircraft will also be at the museum throughout the weekend, including a North American P-51 Mustang and a Beech C-45 Expediter.
The museum will have special hours during the plane’s stay, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $15 per person or $25 per family.

OUT OF TOWN
A couple of out-of-town entertainment options are also available.
Starship featuring Mickey Thomas
Starship featuring Mickey Thomas will perform a free concert Saturday at Osage Casino in Hominy, located at 9 Deer Ave. in the Osage Industrial Park. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the show is for all ages.
The concert is outdoors and lawn chairs are welcome.
Art on the Hill
Art on the Hill will be at Rogers State University, 1701 W. Will Rogers Blvd. in Claremore, on Friday and Saturday.
The event includes an art show and sale from area artisans, artist demonstrations, live music, theater and children’s craft projects. Food concessions will be available.
Activities begin at noon Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Admission to the event is free.

No mention of the food truck festival at the Air and Space Museum. Saturday and Sunday 9am-7pm.
