Roundup Dog ShowsThe Tulsa Roundup Dog Shows will be held on the upper level of the QuikTrip Center at Expo Square Friday through Monday. About 1,800 dogs will compete during the event, hosted by the Mid-Continent Kennel Club and the Seminole Kennel Club. Shows begin at 8:30 a.m. each day and last through about 4 p.m. Admission to the event is free. Classes that teach children how to handle their dogs will be offered, and more than 60 vendors will be there selling dog food, toys, treats, equipment and books.
Will Rogers StampedeThe 66th annual Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo is set for Thursday through Sunday at the Will Rogers Stampede Round Up Club, 13653 E. 480 Road in Claremore.
Non-performance competitions will be held in the arena throughout the day on Thursday. Rodeo performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children, available in advance at 918-798-3201 or

Memorial Day displayLocal military historians and preservationists will present their 21st annual patriotic military display on the lower level of Promenade mall near Macy’s from Friday through Monday. The exhibit seeks to remember and honor military personnel who served or are currently serving in the armed forces. Items on display will include uniforms, patches and personal items of veterans who served in wars from WWII to Vietnam. A collection of WWII period aircraft, ship, tank and vehicle training identification models will also be displayed, as well as a collection of U.S. military medals.
‘Jazz on a Spring Evening’The Tulsa Historical Society, 2445 S. Peoria Ave., is focusing on Oklahoma jazz this month during its Thursday night lecture series. At 6:30 p.m. Thursday the third session in the “Jazz on a Spring Evening” series will be a concert with tunes from many genres represented by Oklahoma jazz artists. The event is free with museum admission, which is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors.
Hindu Temple anniversaryHead to the Hindu Temple of Greater Tulsa, 16943 E. 21st St., this weekend for an opportunity to watch Hindu worship services and try Indian food. Sessions are set from 10 a.m. to noon and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 9 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m. to noon Monday. The event is free. For more information, call 918-438-3850.
Weekend festivalsThe
Rocklahoma music festival runs Friday through Sunday at Catch the Fever festival grounds, Pryor Creek Apartments Drive, just north of Pryor. Campgrounds are open through May 29. General admission options start at $50-$150.

Backwoods Bash Music & Camping Festival runs Friday-Monday at the lake at Old Walnut Creek State Park, about 30 minutes west of Tulsa.
Aside from music from acts including The Werks, Captain Comfy, 1 oz Jig, The Gourds and many others, the family-friendly event features vending from regional eateries, a play area for kids and access to boating, camping, swimming and fishing.
