Toby Keith album release date moved up to November

Oklahoma country star Toby Keith has moved forward the release of his latest studio album.

“Hope On The Rocks” is set for an Oct. 30 release instead of Nov. 13, an official press statement said.

So far, his early single, “I Like Girls That Drink Beer” is a hit across all platforms, including radio, digital sales and video play. It’s now at No. 23 on the Billboard Country Songs Chart.

Keith also produced the new album. Two versions will be available. A 10-track release and a 14-track “deluxe” release that will include remixes of his hits “Red Solo Cup and “Beers Ago,” among others.

Barrelhouse Beat

Barrelhouse: A colloquialism describing the low saloons at the turn of the century (19th) that served whiskey straight out of the barrel. It's also a reference to the type of music played in those venues. Ex: Barrelhouse music.

Beat: The time or timing. Ex: The band played with a solid beat. Also used as a term describing a reporters specific area of expertise. Ex: The music beat.
