Tim Inman, the wildly talented chef-proprietor at Sonehorse Cafe in Utica Square Shopping Center, wound up settling in Tulsa primarily because he simply longed for a parking space.
Inman came here 20 years ago from New York to attend Spartan School of Aviation but along the way became a professional chef instead.
After that came cooking stops, in order, in Florida, France, Florida, Tulsa and San Francisco.
"I had an epiphany in San Francisco about 2:30 in the morning, while I was trying to get a look at the stars," he recalled. "I thought, 'I'd just like to be able to park my truck in front of my own house.' So, I headed back to Tulsa."
