Brian Gresh will perform on Thursday night's "
American Idol" on
Fox as part of the
Queen Extravaganza official tribute. The act will perform the Queen hit “Somebody To Love.”
Katy Perry also will perform her newest single, “Part of Me,” reports the "American Idol" website.

Brian May helped hand-pick the guitarist as part of a four vocalist and five musician touring tribute recently, during a 12-week online audition search, the act's official website shows.

Gresh moved to Tulsa from Pennsylvania at age 8. He's a graduate of Union High School and the University of Tulsa. He's performed with Tulsa bands Megatron, Jukebox Hero, Smunty Voje, Your Final Thought and The Element, among others.
