Dean's written or co-written for artists including Britney Spears, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry, Usher, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Rowland,Trey Songz, Ciara and Christina Aguilera.
Last year, she also appeared on the soundtrack "Rio: Music From The Motion Picture."
She was born in Muskogee and lived in Tulsa before moving to Omaha in her teens. She now lives in Los Angeles.
