So your gas tank is on “E” – like
really “E” – like ‘be happy I didn’t shut down on your silly self on the highway’-“E” and, say, Tom Cruise or hmm, Usher, pulls up next to you in a line for the pump and gives you an apologetic but mischievous “mind me cutting in, please?” look. What do you do?
Well, in the case of
Usher Raymond, add in some security guys, and not only would he cut, a gas station attendant might even mean-eye if you don’t let ‘im.
Except we’re not talking about a line to the pump but a line to go vote.
USA Today reports the “Confessions” singer was ushered (no pun intended) to the front of a long line at his polling place down in Georgia this week. And what’s more, some officials are defending the move.
In a statement, poll manager Frank Padula said he was directed to guide Usher through the process as quickly as possible, the AP reported.
“It was better for us not to create a distraction from a celebrity for other voters,” Fulton elections Interim Director Sharon Mitchell said.
Distraction? Was Usher…singing?

Mitchell also said the singer had made arrangements in advance.
Well arrangements or not, those forced to wait took the special treatment Usher received none to kindly.
If anyone might deserve special treatment at the polls it would be people with disabilities, the elderly and possibly voters with small children, North Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann told the
Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“I’m not sure about celebrities.”

According to
Deadline.com,
Lindsay Lohan’s 20/20 interview with

Supposedly LiLo’s new PR team wasn’t quite satisfied with the direction ABC wanted to take the interview.
The episode was to promote Lohan’s upcoming role a Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime original movie "Liz & Dick," and one can only assume – with Walters asking pointed questions and all – dig into Lohan's tumultuous personal life.

“You have the great part of red, like the red emotions that are daring and bold and passion and love and affection. And then you have on the side of the spectrum jealousy, and anger and frustration and ‘you didn’t call me back’ and ‘I need space,” she said.
