Matisyahu, an acclaimed New York City rapper and Hasidic Jew, recently performed for Billboard, and chose to cover the Kings of Leon tune, "Use Somebody."

Matisyahu, who's been nominated for Best Reggae Album Grammy, said the lyrics and band history was intriguing to him.

In the video, he sings -- and beatboxes -- to an acoustic guitar.

Two of the Kings of Leon band-mates and family members were born in Oklahoma City.
