Wear pink for half-price zoo admission Saturday and Sunday

The weather is perfect for spending the day at the zoo.
If sunshine isn't a good enough reason to visit, how about this? Admission is half price Saturday and Sunday for everyone wearing pink.
The half-price admission this weekend is part of Turn Tulsa Pink, a campaign to lend support to children and women affected by cancer.
If you're bringing children along, the zoo will have a flamingo chat and mascots from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
If it's been awhile since you've made a trip to the zoo, definitely check out the giraffe exhibit, a fun way to see giraffes up close in a safari-like habitat.
And again, if you have children along, you can't pass on the train. A tip: Save the train ride for halfway through your day when everyone could you a break.
Tulsa Zoo
Half-price admission for those wearing pink from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
6421 E. 36th St. North

How does wearing pink affect the animals in the zoo? How does it help people with cancer? This is a nutty idea. Football teams are wearing pink. Has that healed anyone?
