There has been a steady trickle of people submitting their guesses for how much snow Tulsa will receive this winter, but the window for submissions is fast closing!

I am taking submissions by email until 5 p.m. Friday.

Here's the deal: Email to jerry.wofford@tulsaworld.com your guess for 1) how much snow will fall between now and March 31, 2013, in Tulsa to the nearest tenth of an inch and 2) the first day of measurable snowfall in Tulsa. Whoever gets the closest to the snow total will receive a programmable weather radio to alert you when severe weather is approaching where you live. If there is a need for a tiebreaker, whoever gets closest to the first day of snowfall will win.

We have had about 75 submissions so far. So with a wise guess, your chances are good.

So, click the link above to see my thoughts on this winter's snow and a plethora of historical data, then send me your best educated guess. But hurry! I'm cutting you off at 5 p.m.
