If you love live music, it's a great week to be in Tulsa. Hanson and Taylor Swift are coming to town for mid-week performances. Then, Thursday kicks off the inaugural Tulsa International Film Festival. The weekend ends with one of Tulsa’s most popular events, the Art of BBQ.

Tuesday: Hanson


Tulsans love Hanson, and Hanson loves them right back. Check it all out at the live show at the Cain's.
When: Doors open at 7 p.m.

Wednesday: Taylor Swift


The most die-hard fans bought their tickets months ago for this sold-out show. If you're willing to pay top dollar, you might be able to score some tickets outside the show.

Thursday: Tulsa International Film Festival


Who said Tulsa wasn't cool? It's now cool enough to have its own film festival. Modeled after the popular South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, the inaugural Tulsa International Film Festival will include more than 150 shorts and feature films. A street party kicks off the four days of fun.
When: Thursday through Sunday, beginning with a free street party at 6 p.m. Thursday in front of the TCC Center for Creativity on Boston Avenue

Friday and Saturday: Art of BBQ


It's two days of some of the best barbecue in the state, plus live music and great people watching. The Art of BBQ is two days – Friday and Saturday – but real barbecue fans will want to come Saturday for the People's Choice tasting. That's when you can taste ribs, brisket, chicken and more from the top teams in the region.
When: 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. People's Choice tasting begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and ends at 1 p.m.
Where: ONEOK Field, Second Street and Elgin Avenue
Cost: Free to enter. Taster kits are $10.

Tulsa To Do
