Tuesday: Seed Sower Series
Here's another lecture, but don't think of these as boring. If you've never been to the Seed Sower Series on the OU-Tulsa campus, give it a try. On Tuesday, the director of OU's Urban Design Studio will give a talk on how created environments, like neighborhoods, access to food, transportation and water quality, influence our health. It should be an interesting discussion for those interested in environmental and health issues.
When: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Schusterman Learning Center at OU-Tulsa, 41st Street and Yale Avenue
Cost: Free

Wednesday: Brown bag concert

Where: Kathleen Westby Pavilion at the PAC, 110 E. Second St.
Cost: Free

Thursday: David Cook at the Cain's
It's been two years since American Idol winner David Cook has performed in Tulsa, and that's too long for fans. Cook won American Idol in 2008. He cultivated fans from across the country, of course, but also fans in Tulsa who remembered him from his days living in Tulsa playing with the Midwest Kings. Gavin DeGraw will play with Cook in the Tulsa show Thursday.
When: Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Cain's Ballroom, 423 W. Main St.
