Mondays, from 4 to 10 p.m., are half-price at Winterfest.

The German American Society of Tulsa's apple strudel will be sold by the slice or whole during Christkindlmarkt, Friday through Sunday.

Local, handmade chocolates are among the items planned for Carols and Crumpets, the Tulsa Herb Society's fair of crafts, herbs and locally produced products.

There's something to do every day of the week as we approach December and the holiday rush.

In between shopping and decorating, slow down and have fun at one of these events. Pick from ice skating at Winterfest, German food and dancing at Christkindlmarkt, a tour of a Victorian mansion in Claremore, a Beatles tribute show or crafts at Carols and Crumpets.
