Here's a week's worth of hot picks to get you in the holiday spirit.

Most entertainment during December is Christmas-related, but not all. One great option is "Seussical," which has several showtimes this week and next.

But if you're looking for Christmas-specific events, check out some of these events and others at tulsaworld.com/calendar.

Monday: Jingle Bell Puppet Theater
Puppet theater is fun for kids of all ages, and this special holiday edition should draw a crowd to Central Library. If you can't make the afternoon show, bundle up and come back after dinnertime.
When: 3:30 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Central Library, 400 Civic Center
Cost: Free

Tuesday: Appassionata Duo Candlelight Concert
A concert on a Tuesday night is a small indulgence, but a concert in candlelight on a weeknight is a luxury. This one is by a Tulsa viola and harp duo at Harwelden, with wine, cheese and dessert following the show.
When: 7 p.m.
Where: Harwelden, 2210 S. Main St.
Cost: Go to tulsaworld.com/appassionata for more information.

Wednesday: Pop-Up Shops in the Deco District
Maybe you can't get away during the work day to shop at the temporary shops downtown. Wednesday nights are a great time to go, with shopping hours extended to 8 p.m. These pop-up shops, in the Thompson and Philcade buildings near Boston Avenue and Fifth Street, will be downtown for the holiday season. The shops feature everything from handmade home decor to food and books. Santa and carolers will be part of the evening.
When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Noon to 8 p.m. Saturday. On Wednesdays, shops are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Thompson and Philcade buildings, Fifth Street and Boston Avenue

Thursday: "Seussical"
The Christmas season is great, but sometimes you need a break from the fa-la-la. "Seussical," while it does feature the Grinch (yes, the one who stole Christmas), is a fun show and a nice alternative to the holiday shows of December.
When: 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and Dec. 22 and 23; 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Where: Tulsa Convention Center, 100 Civic Center
Cost: Tickets start at $22; tulsaworld.com/seusstix

Friday: Trans-Siberian Orchestra
It's not just holiday music, but lights, lasers and even fire in this dramatic show. Can't remember who the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is? Google it, and you'll recognize the sound within three notes.
When: Two shows, 4 and 8 p.m.
Where: BOK Center, Second Street and Denver Avenue
Cost: Tickets start at $31; tulsaworld.com/bok

Saturday: Woolaroc's Wonderland of Lights
Walk the grounds, ride in a carriage or visit Santa in the lobby at Woolaroc in Bartlesville. Woolaroc's Wonderland of Lights is a fun way to spend an evening leading up to Christmas. A concession has cookies and hot chocolate, and you can stroll both inside the buildings and on the museum's grounds.
When: 5 to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday until Dec. 24
Where: Woolaroc, 12 miles southwest of Bartlesville. Go to tulsaworld.com/woolaroc for directions.
Cost: $4 for adults and $1 for children 11 and younger
